 Biography

Truong-Van Luu holds a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam (July 1991), an M.Eng. in Construction Engineering and Management at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailan (April 2002). He was awarded the Third prize for excellent thesis among the student theses in civil engineering in Vietnam -1991.  He obtained the certificate of Fulbright Economic Teaching Program for “Applied economics for analyzing economy policies” – batch 3 (1997-1998). He worked in construction industry as a structural engineer then a site supervisor from September 1991 to December 1993. From January 1994, he worked as the lecturer at Division of Construction Engineering and Management, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam. 

 

He has worked as a lecturer for many short courses such as “Improving skills of construction project management”, “Construction site management”, “Contract management in construction”, “Applying MS Project 2003 for project management”, “Advanced skills for site supervisors” at Center of Professional Accounting (CPA), Open University at HCM city and other universities in Vietnam.

 

He has been in Korea since September 2006. He is a doctoral student at the Interdisciplinary Program of Construction Engineering and Management, Graduate School, Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea.
